At Village North the new resident will sign an occupancey agreement explaining the monthly fee and payment for services. The resident must give 90 days notice if he/she moves out, unless a higher level of health care is needed. The first month's rent and a security deposit (equal to the monthly rent) is due at signing. The security deposit is fully refundable, if the apartment is in good condition upon vacating the apartment.
Is there extra storage space outside of the apartment?
Besides the closets in every apartment (up to seven), every resident receives a storage locker in the basement of the facility. The measurements are 44 inches deep, 4 foot tall and 37 inches wide. Many residents store seasonal clothes and items not needed on a regular basis.
What about meals?
Our kitchen is open 7 days a week and serves meals up to 3 times a day. Our restaurant-style concept includes a large variety of items including daily specials, the luxury of wait staff, and "better than reasonable" a la carte pricing.

Village North locks the main doors at 8 p.m. every evening. The residents have a key to open the main doors as well as the door leading directly into their respective building. Residents may come and go as they please. We do ask if the resident is going to be gone overnight or for an extended period of time that he/she let the front desk know.
How does the transportation system work? How far will Village North take me?
Residents are transported to the doctor, the bank and church as needed, and weekly trips are scheduled to different grocery stores and drug stores. Many of our residents drive their own cars, but choose to use our transportation service in inclement weather.
