Employees and residents of Village North Retirement Community held a bake-off and raised $91.50 for the Heart Walk. The idea for the fundraiser was suggested by one of the residents after their successful chili cook off that raised money for the same event. The housekeeping and maintenance departments sponsored the event. Four judges tasted the 14 entries and first, second and third-places winners were announced.
